In 2015 I was suddenly hit by panic attacks and debilitating anxiety. The only way I could get through each day was to drop everything that caused me stress and spend all day drawing. The Alice books have always been my favourites and I love Tenniel’s original illustrations. I wanted to try copying one or two with brush and ink technique. I ended up doing most of the drawings, adding my own touches, plus a couple of my own inspired by the stories. Fortunately, I quickly discovered that my panic and anxiety were caused by a lifetime of mouth breathing (yes, seriously, shut that mouth) and were quickly reversed by the Buteyko Breathing Retraining technique. Not only that but all my health issues were reversed and I discovered a level of health and energy I had never known. Five years on and I still enjoy outstanding health. And a collection of beautiful drawings.
